Peppery plum & phruity pinotage!
The wine entering your mouth is a lift-off. Your lips are sealing the brim of the glass, and the energetic wine starts an act of juvenile deliquency. Meaning that it feels almost criminally good that a wine with such a nice price hits the top of your mouth with clear notes, touches the sides with some deeper purrs, and pours down your throat with a resonance of unchanged youthfulness. Once it's in there, it's alive all the way. Peppery, plummy & phruity.
And the wine is firm enough. With a nice balance of tannines & acids in the veins.
Just right now, to be enjoyed in it's liveliness. Maturing the wine might give some refinement that the grape could quite easily master, but something of the youthening of the sipper might be lost. - This is not an old-school sauvignon mellowed with merlot, but a pinotage on it's own.
