NIKO'S KOUNELI - Saturday, April 21 till Sunday, April 22, 2012

Our winter in Kalyves is soon coming to it's end. But some great things keep happening. One of the most valued of them was the KOUNELI (rabbit) our MasterChef and Elfman, Nikos, gave to us for a stifado. And since it was best to ask him to prepare it in the right way, he came over on two days to do the job. First on Saturday to cut the rabbit and to make the real sauce, and again on Sunday to actually cook the stifado in traditional style.

We had a memorable dinner in our house with Nikos and Mikko on Sunday. The taste of the stifado "sauce" Nikos had made was unbelievable!
