We had totally forgotten a discovery we made already a week ago. We found an insectological rarity that has very seldom been described in literature, let alone captured on video.

We are proud to present this rare insect, Beetlelus cofficus, with motion and the characteristic sound.
Though we are in no way experts either in insectology or especially in Beetlelus cofficus, we believe that a spectral analysis of the sound of this particular specimen will prove it to be a female.

Church of Panayia

Our dear Nikos, the wonder of hospitality, and a great Cretan CHEF, whirled to our abode again today with a gift of avocados and fire-wood from his farm.
The fire-wood is giving us warmth now, and the avocados are waiting, according to Nikos' instructions, to be ripe after a few days in the warmth of our abode.
