Periquita? Yet another seducing grape. She certainly has wonderful, tasty skins judging from the fact that this wine was fermented on top of them. And after that the one-year oak treatment, and an additional maturation of 3 years in the bottle, are quite remarkable signs of 'looking into the matter' at this price. A balance with the wild origins has been sought, and found.
